CCWIncidents.org Launched
The CCW Incident National Database (CCWIND) was launched today May 28, 2022. CCWIND was created to document events involving CCW permit holders on a nationwide basis. We document both positive and negative outcomes based on credible news sources. The database is free to use (registration required) and you are encouraged to contribute incidents to the database. Incident submissions are reviewed for accuracy and if approved by our database administrators approved for publication and included in our aggregate CCW statistics pages.
Our Mission
We believe that the proverbial Good Guy with a Gun does exist. We strive to make CCWIND is the best source for current CCW incident data. Through the collection, aggregation and publication of this data we believe the truth about responsible ownership and use will be self evident. To that end please help us by submitting CCW incidents from credible sources so we can properly tell the story of responsible CCW permit holders.
We hope you find the database valuable and a great tool for learning more about concealed carry events in the United States.
